A strong and quite cold winter storm is enroute to western Washington, northwestern Oregon and the Cascades Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Up to five inches of snow are possible in the higher coastal mountains with two feet in the Cascades. Snow amounts in valley and coastal areas could vary from a light dusting to two inches. Driving over Cline and Dudlee Hills between Eddyville and Blodgett on Highway 20 could be very trecherous Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
Accompanying the storm, strong winds are expected to blow up to 70 mph along beaches and coastal headlands Tuesday evening through early Wednesday morning.
