As you can see from the photos taken by our Brad Taylor, Newport’s 35th annual Seafood and Wine remains its wildly successful self. The tents at South Beach are bulging at the seams. Seafood is being served along with some of the best wines Oregon has to offer. And as you can see, a very good time is being had by all who attend.
As always, if you intend to party like it used to be 1999, bring a designated driver. Drunk driving is never excusable. Oregon State Police and Newport Police want everyone to enjoy themselves BUT everyone should drink responsibly.
Here’s Seafood and Wine times for the rest of the weekend:
Saturday 10-6pm, $17 admission
Sunday 10-4pm, $7 admission
Meanwhile some of the local beach resorts and nightlife spots were throwing some rather handsome parties of their own, this shot showing a packed crowd at Apollo’s down on the Bayfront.
