Lincoln County has in place the following preparations for the impending weather conditions as outlined by the National Weather Service.
Lincoln County Emergency Management has communicated with public safety agencies, City municipalities, and State agencies regarding potential affects of weather conditions and asked for a situational status assessment for Wednesday, January 18th.
The County Public Works department has prepared their equipment and vehicles to respond to the anticipated effects of the weather conditions.
The County Emergency Operations Center is on stand by pending request of additional resources from public safety agencies and/or city municipalities or due to damage to buildings, roads closures, or loss of utility services.
Citizens should take precautionary measures for possible loss of utilities, road closures, flooding, high winds, and high surf conditions.
