HAND HYGIENE ALERT!
(from Samaritan Health)
Many communities in Oregon are experiencing outbreaks of noro-type gastrointestinal viruses. These cause severe nausea/vomiting and diarrhea that can result in dehydration. The virus is also very easily transmissible from person to person.
This is an alert to all of you to be meticulous about your hand washing and hygiene… not just here, but at home and in public places like the grocery store. It’s a good idea to have hand sanitizer in your car or purse, and to use the “Cart wipes” when shopping.
