Carol Miley’s photo of this Red-Breasted Sapsucker proves that even in the watery depths of an Oregon winter there are momentary eruptions of color, as in this apple orchard in Otis on New Year’s Day. Carol told us that this little bird very graciously interrupted its lunch to pose for the camera, even if the camera was a long way away. It must have known that the world much admires its beautiful feathery colors and ‘stick-to-itness’ at eeking out a meal in the wilds of Oregon.
Again we here at NewsLincolnCounty.com admire the photographic skills that are demonstrated so often here at Lincoln County’s homesite for central coast news. Thanks to all those who contribute, and thanks in advance for those who are yet to join, in visualizing the magic of living along Oregon’s majestic coastline.
