A 37 year old man was arrested last evening in Lincoln City for allegedly prowling the halls of a local hotel, looking for an open door.
Lincoln City Police say they got a call shortly after 10pm from a worker at the Liberty Inn, off NW Logan Road at the north end of town. Police were told that a man was walking the halls of their facility and shaking door handles in an apparent attempt to see which room he might gain entry to.
Police arrived within a few minutes tracked Benjamin Gomez down, and soon had him in the back of a patrol car in route to the Lincoln County Jail. There, they booked him for Criminal Trespassing and Attempted Burglary. His bail was set at $107,500.
