News Lincoln County contributor and all around photographer Vivian Mills spotted these two wooden “beasties” ensconced in the sand…the first one looking a bit like the Lock Ness monster, with it’s body above the surface in the rear, and it’s long neck submerged except for it’s formidable head. The second monster appears to be eating or attacking something in the sand at the lower left portion of the tree remnant. Vivian proves once again that life is largely perception. Look at this beach scene one way and it looks like what’s left of a 4,000 year old tree. Walk another way and your heart pounds at what you think you see, and you run screaming across the beach!
Perception. It’s what Vivian used to make her living at. Today, lucky gal, she gets to play with it!
