A series of mid-October burglaries that involved not only theft but serious damage to several homes in Depoe Bay may have been the work of Gleneden Beach man.
Deputies were called to residences on Tillmook, Ridge Place and Laurel streets finding them ransacked and damaged. Their investigation proceeded but didn’t end until they arrested Patrick McKillop-Skeahan, 19, on a warrant for his arrest. Further investigating led them to believe that McKillop-Skeahan may be connected. After a lengthy interview with McKillop-Skeahan deputies say they had probable cause to charge him with the burglaries.
McKillop-Skeahan was booked again on charges of Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief with a bail of $435,000. He was already being held in connection with other burglaries and thefts; three counts of Criminal Mischief, two counts of burglary, Resisting Arrest, Attempt to Escape and Auto Theft.
His bail now totals $735,000.
