Highway 101 flooding south of Seaside
From Oregon State Police
Cars are now being restricted on U.S. 101 because of high water at Beerman Creek just south of Seaside. The water level is now at 11 inches. Only trucks or high profile vehicles will be allowed through until the water levels decrease. Vehicles are restricted to 5 miles per hour. The high tide and heavy rain are the main contributors of the high water between milepost 23 to 25. ODOT staff is monitoring water levels and variable message signs are posted on all the main highways warning motorists of the restrictions.
