Winds are howling up and down Oregon’s Central Coast tonight. Winds are expected to stay very strong through about noon on Tuesday. Be alert to weakened trees or dangling power lines. If you don’t have to drive, don’t.
Winds have been blowing 40 – 50 mph, with much higher gusts at headlands and on exposed beaches. NOAA Weather forecasts winds to 80 mph in some areas. Winds are expected to begin tapering off by noon Tuesday.
