A Lincoln County Jail inmate already being held on charges of Criminal Mischief and for violating his parole, will be serving more time for causing a ruckus at the jail.
Jail corrections officers said Martin Hilgardner, 26, of Rose Lodge had pasted wet toilet paper on his jail cell door window so no one could see that he was flooding his room. Officers told him to remove the paper, but they say Hilgardner refused to. Shortly a team off officers barged into the room to find Hilgardner standing in a fighting position. Officers said they told him lie on the floor. Instead they say he charged at deputies, injuring one of them. Officers say they sprayed and tazed him and quickly got him cuffed up.
Officers added Assault on a Public Safety Officer to the list of charges already against him. His bail was raised another $50,000.
