The League of Women Voters of Lincoln County is conducting their annual grapefruit sale. This year they will be working with Quail Valley Farms in Medford and will take orders for other fruit as well. Options will include Texas red grapefruit, California navel oranges, Washington Fuji apples or Northwest D’Anjou pears.
A 20-pound box of either grapefruit or oranges sells for $20.00. The same size box of apples or pears sells for $25.00. Also available for $25.00 is a Festival of Fruit box which weighs about 22 pounds and contains an assortment of all four fruits. Orders must be prepaid and will be delivered in early December. Call Maxine Demory at 541-265-7532 or Suzanne Maxson at 541-563-5231 to order your fruit.
The League has been selling grapefruit as a fundraiser for the past thirteen years and has many repeat customers. They are pleased to also offer other fruit this year. Proceeds help fund the voter service activities of the League of Women Voters.
