Newport Walmart to unveil new store improvements, new entrance and 24 hour operation Nov. 5th

The Walmart in Newport is about to become something other than the small Walmart that it’s been for many years that closes at 10pm. It’ll become a larger Walmart with expanded grocery and larger merchandise areas. It’s new entrance is already lit up and ready to become the way shoppers come and go, day and night, even really late at night since the store is apparently going to be open 24 hours like Walmarts everywhere. That’s what the checkout cashiers are telling shoppers.
The date for the grand unveiling and the new hours – November 5th we’re told.
