Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office asking public’s help in finding missing Lincoln City area woman

kayoko Umenishi’s vehicle was located at the Otter Rock Viewpoint at 4:30pm Friday. There was no sign of her anywhere. Authorities are still asking for the public’s help in locating her.
A woman missing from her home just north of Lincoln City is still being sought by Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies. They say they received a report Thursday that Kayoko Umenishi, 38 of Neotsu left her family home sometime on Wednesday without her prescription medications. Umenishi’s car is a white, 2001 Toyota Camry with Oregon license plate 562-EZM.
Kayoko Umenishi is an adult Asian female, approximately 5 foot and 3 inches tall, and weighing about 100 lbs. She speaks both English and Japanese. Deputies say she left in an undetermined direction and is considered missing AND ENDANGERED at this time.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating Kayoko Umenishi. Anyone with information regarding the location of Umenishi or her vehicle is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (541) 265-4231.
