Pedersen and Grigsby headed for Washington State to face murder charges there
It may turn out that David “Joey” Pedersen and his female companion Holly Grigsby may face not only the death penalty in Washington, Oregon and California, two of the murders may be eligible for a “hate crimes” category, which means the federal courts may also get involved.
Investigators say that Grigsby made references to the motives for the killing of Cody Myers of Lafayette, Oregon as being based on his last name sounding “Jewish” to them, and the fact that the murder of Reginald Clark, a black man in Eureka, California is suspected as a racial killing based upon Pedersen’s avowed white supremacist attitudes; the SWP tatoo on his neck signifying “Supreme White Power.”
