The Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy Monday morning, October 10, on a body found in a vehicle recovered last weekend in Linn County. The vehicle is associated with homicide investigations in Everett, Washington and the State of Oregon.
According to Dr. Cliff Nelson, the body was positively identified as DAVID “RED” JONES PEDERSEN, age 56, from Everett, Washington. He has been missing since September 29, 2011.
The cause of death was by “gunshot to the head”. The manner of death is “homicide”.
Murder suspect David Joseph Pedersen goes by the nickname of “Joey,” while his father’s nickname was “Red” Pedersen. Both have same first names.
