Oregon State Police report that a truck moving heavy equipment has become disabled north of Newport on Highway 101 causing a traffic hazard at mile post 135 in the Cape Foulweather area. OSP says the forklift came loose in transit and fell over the side of the truck. Traffic is getting through, but watch for flaggers. OSP says delays are less than 20 minutes.
OSP reports that Rowley’s Towing off-loaded the forklist. Both vehicles were driveable. All traffic lanes were reopened at 4:40pm.
