Any local contractor who wants to learn the in’s and out’s of bidding on government contracts, especially for the ongoing Lincoln County School Bond project are urged to attend a workshop coming up August 30th. Here’s the scoop from the school district:
Lincoln County School District will host a free workshop to help local contractors fully understand what it takes to participate in public works projects, including school improvement projects.
The workshop will be conducted by staff from the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the LCSD Bond Facilities Improvement Center, 351 S.E. Harney St. in Newport (the former Yaquina View school building).
