The Port of Toledo would like to express our thanks to everyone that came out to our 2022 Wooden Boat Show and made this year’s festival a success. A great big Thank you to the exhibitors that put their boats on display and for the visitors that came out to admire them. We also want to thank the vendors displaying their products. It was a great weekend!
Various community groups and individuals volunteered to coordinate activities at the festival. The Port appreciates the contributions of these amazing volunteers: Joe Novello and volunteers from the Toledo Community Boathouse directed Family Boat Building, gave river tours on the Yaquina Queen, and loaned boats at the Boathouse; Toledo Four Square Church assisted kids with building toy boats; Terry Dillman and company as pirates at the potato cannons; Lorna Davis coordinated the GP Cardboard Boat Race; Denny and David Heinen for water safety; Music Program Director Paul Boggard; Toledo Chamber of Commerce served a Pancake Breakfast and food at the Pavilion; Yaquina Pacific Railroad Historical Society/Toledo Rotary had refreshments at the Loose Caboose; Angell Job Corps for help with set up and running the event; and Toledo Active Group and the City of Toledo for use of tents, tables and chairs.
