Vegetation Fire Erupting in Waldport
3:15pm A wildland fire is growing quickly in Waldport in the vicinity of NE Commercial Street. Residents and any commercial personnel are being considered for evacuation.
3:23pm Fire continues to spread. Firefighters are fighting the blaze. Firefighters are easily tackling the flames due to the concentration of wide-spaced buildings and less vegetation to burn.
3:57pm Firefighters have put out the fire. They’re combing the area to ensure the fire does not re-erupt.
