Coastal Arts Guild Tea & Talk
Join the Coastal Arts Guild for Tea and Talk with artist, Jocelyn Stoody, on Thursday, August 4, at 2 pm. Jocelyn will be talking about her new interest, alcohol inks, as well as her past artistic endeavors and business.
Jocelyn has been a maker her whole life. After college she attended a graphic design school, but favored intricate beadwork while raising her two sons in Arizona. Then, in the early 2000s, a new product came out; Precious Metal Clay. Jocelyn took classes and was hooked! It was a match made in heaven. About ten years into working with metal clay, life circumstances, now in Montana, lead her to develop an interesting and unusual business.
When Jocelyn and her husband moved to Newport, her son took over the business in Montana. She is thrilled to have moved to Newport, and to have met so many wonderful people. Now she has discovered the medium of alcohol inks and is enjoying it immensely. Join the CAG at the Visual Arts Center for an afternoon artist talk with tea in a beautiful oceanfront setting.
