Pacific Maritime Heritage Center Hours of Operation Expand

                                                                                                                               The Lincoln County Historical Society is pleased to announce that the is expanding its open hours for public visitation. Starting Thursday, June 9 the Maritime Center will be open four days a week, Thursday – Sunday, 11 am – 4 PM. Admission is $5; free to LCHS members and reciprocal benefits to participants in the North American Reciprocal Museum Association. The PMHC is located on Newport’s Bayfront just across the street from Dock 5 at 333 SE Bay Blvd;  off-street parking is available onsite. Inside the 30,000 square foot Pacific Maritime Heritage Center are interpretive exhibits and a series of short documentary films which are viewed in the 121 seat Doerfler Family Theater. The center also offers the best local views of Newport’s fishing fleet and the Yaquina Bay Bridge. A museum store is also on site for those looking for gifts or good reads.
