The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved second COVID-19 vaccine booster shots from Pfizer (PFE) and Moderna (MRNA) for people ages 50 and up, and for those who are immune-compromised.
A minimum of four months must pass between the first and second boosters. Second boosters do not have to be the same brand as the first booster. Also, Pfizer’s shot was approved for immune-compromised people ages 12 and up, while Moderna’s has only been approved for ages 18 and up so far. |
