Hello Friends of Lincoln City,
Lincoln City was once separated into marketing territories. I have two homes in the Wecoma Beach area. Our ancestors spent money campaigning Oregon cities to visit the coast and contribute to the economy. That sentiment changed within the last few years. The efforts and capital put forth for many years to entice people to the coast is being lost and made to no effect. Please reconsider passing this law, Measure 21-203. We can not afford to let homes lose value and become cheap and available for any to afford. The word about Lincoln City is already out. I am concerned that the effort to keep the small town feel will only result in low income opportunities and result in a worse outcome than what is hoped to achieve by passing this law. Please keep the city thriving and increasing in value. Vote NO against Measure 21-203.
