Forest Fire just west of Grand Ronde
Traffic is backed up for miles west of Grand Ronde
4;08PM Firefighters have been fighting a forest fire just off Highway 18 just west of Grand Ronde in the Van Duzer Forest area. Firefighters from three different departments are still on scene. No word on a cause. Highway 18 is closed and it appears it’ll be closed for quite a while. The fire likely is forcing drivers to turn around and head back the other way and figure out out to get to or from the coast.
