INTRODUCING OREGON’S NEW SALMON LICENSE PLATE!
Oregonians will soon have a new choice about how they display their support for salmon habitat. The new Oregon salmon license plate design will be available September 1st. Now is your exclusive chance to win one of the lowest-numbered new plates through a special auction in cooperation with Oregon nonprofits that support salmon habitat restoration.
To launch the new salmon license plate, the Oregon Conservation Partnership is hosting a Salmon Plate VIP List Auction using eBay. From July 20, 2021 through July 30th, 2021, members of the public can place their bids HERE for a first chance at owning one of the newest Oregon salmon license plates. Winning bidders can secure a plate number from SM00001 through SM00020. All proceeds from this auction will go to participant selected nonprofit organizations – please be sure to choose Native Fish Society! The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board and Oregon Parks and Recreation Department first debuted the original salmon plate in 1998. Revenue from the specialty plate protects and restores native salmon habitat. To date, over $8 million of salmon plate funding has been invested in Oregon.
