Two young girls capsize from their canoes on Devils Lake
2:05 Two young girls in a canoe are in the water near NW Logan Road in Lincoln city. The scene is near Regatta Grounds off NE 15th. The girls were not wearing life vests.
2:17pm The juveniles have been picked up by others in their own boats. Both girls and paddle boat are 30 seconds out from the dock.
2:19pm The girls are fine – their gear is recovered – including their canoe. They got lucky…especially while not wearing life jackets.
