A man was shot at Best Western Motel in Lincoln City
11:12pm A man was shot Sunday evening at the Best Western Hotel in Lincoln City at 4430 Southeast Highway 101. It’s believed the wound was self-inflected. A shot to his hand by mistake. Fire Rescue and local law enforcement are headed to the scene.
11:22pm Law enforcement has motioned fire-rescue paramedics into the apartment to assess the situation. There are also discussions going on in the hotel’s parking lot.
11:25pm Things have calmed way down. Situation is being evaluated as to the sequence of events including questions about why a gun was involved.
