Earlier this week two relatively young males let a neighboring business know that the business, based in Depoe Bay, was playing music much too loud and way too early in the morning. Sheriff’s Deputies learned that two young men were getting fed up with the loud music and decided to do something about it. And what the angry young men did – according to sheriff’s deputies – was to open fire with their guns – some shooting bullets – the others shooting BB’s. Fortunately no one inside the business or outside of it, was hit by bullets or BB’s. But cars parked outside the business were damaged.
Those inside the store called the Sheriff’s Office who sent investigators right over to try to get to the bottom of what happened. Those with the guns, identified as Aiden Dempsey, 24 and Andrew Hodge, 28 were quickly arrested and taken to the Lincoln County Jail where they were booked for Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing, Reckless Endangering and Disorderly conduct. Dempsey’s bail was set at $155,000. Hodges bail was nearly double that – $300,000.
