Smart Speed Trap Traffic Cameras may be coming to an intersection near you…
Across the country many cities and towns are putting up speed control cameras at busy intersections and along stretches of freeways. The cameras have proven very effective at slowing down traffic. Anyone speeding through an intersection, or long stretch of roadway, runs a very high risk of a high cost ticket that is mailed to the violators home. It cuts down on police officers riding herd on traffic while having video proof that the driver was speeding.
