American Cetacean Society-Oregon Chapter
Newport – The Oregon Chapter of the American Cetacean Society is having a fundraising auction. Place your donated items up for bid and/or bid on available items! All funds raised will go to our Student Grants Program which provides grants to students pursuing a career in the marine sciences.
Items must be new or in excellent condition and please remember this is not a garage sale. Inappropriate items listed will be removed by the site admin. You as the donor will list a picture and the starting bid, as well as a description of the item, any shipping costs. Donor will not collect any money, all money goes to the ACS Oregon Chapter so be sure to include shipping charges unless you wish to cover the shipping yourself or arrange for pickup/delivery if winning bidder is in the area.
You as the bidder can start bidding anytime. The final bid MUST be made by 5pm on March 28th. Winning bids will be “tagged”. Bidders will be given 24 hours to send payment to ACS Oregon Chapter Venmo account . Donor will be notified and then arrangements will be made between the donor and the winner for getting the items. If after 24 hours the winner does not pay, it will be offered to the next winning bidder.
