Police Chase on NE 17th
10:35am Newport Police are in pursuit of a suspected thief behind a grocery store and San Bay O apartments off north 101. Suspect was suspected of menacing with intent to harm a woman. Police in pursuit. Suspect is 5-7, about 125 pounds, wearing a black hoody, wearing sweatpants. Last spotted on NE17th.
Officers are checking out nearby apartments.
