In the spirit of giving, the Central Coast Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, a liberal and progressive spiritual community, has made year-end gifts to support the critical needs in our community.
“There couldn’t be a more timely and important use of our money. The hits to the hungry just keep coming,” said Denise Ross, vice-chair of the CCUUF board.
The board of the fellowship held their monthly meeting and recognized the urgency around year-end gifts. Donations were made to support area nonprofits for a total of $3,000, distributing $1,000 to Grace Wins Haven, $1,000 to the Food Share of Lincoln County, $500 to Centro de Ayuda, and $500 to Acompañar.
The Central Coast Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is a welcoming and liberal spiritual community that has been meeting in Lincoln County since 1984. Prior to the pandemic shutdown, the fellowship met at the Visual Arts Center in Newport and has been convening online since April. All are invited to any Sunday Services conducted on zoom.
