Three Oregon Catholic schools saw an announcement that Portland area public school students were getting free anti-Covid-19 masks and so asked that they get some of the masks as well. The state said no. “You’re a private school.”
The Catholic schools also complained that they didn’t want to be shut down like the regular public schools just because the Governor wanted all of the state’s youngsters to stay at home where they’d be safer.
The catholic schools wouldn’t take no for an answer so they filed a complaint in court saying they were being discriminated against. Click here to read about the outcome it in The Oregonian.
