Current Status (as of September 3, 2020): Phase 1
Lincoln County Board of Commissioners voted to delay Phase 2 until September 29, 2020. Read the full press release.
Lincoln County was approved to enter Phase 2 originally on September 8, 2020*. Read the Governor’s Letter.
Application Letter to enter Phase 2 on August 24th has been submitted. Review the letter (in Supporting Documents below) and linked here. The data used in the letter was what was current at the time from the July 29, 2020 public health indicators report. At the time the letter was sent, the August 6th report had not been released. As noted in the letter, “Each seven-day period is a point in time examination, and that trend can go up and down easily”.

- % ED visits for COVID-like illness (should be below 1.5%)* – Met (0.3%)
- Trend in percent of tests that are positive in last 7 days (should not trend up) – Met (Downtrend 2.8%)
- Percent increase in new cases in last 7 days (should be no more than 5%) – Met ( – 25 %)
- Percent of cases not traced to a known source in last 7 days (should be below 30%) – Not Met (42%)
- Trend in COVID-19 hospitalizations over the last 14 days (should downtrend) – Downtrend
- Percent of cases in last 7 days with follow up within 24 hrs (should be 95% or more) – Not Met (83%)
