The City of Newport Public Works Department advises there will be a temporary interruption of water service to the area between NE 60th St and the Cinema on Thursday, July 9, 2020, from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The affected buildings are Agate Heights Apartments and the Newport Cinema, and individual notices have been provided. Apartment residents are advised to stockpile water for their needs during this time frame on Thursday.

This is related to improvements being made to the water distribution system on NE 60th St.
