Second Drive Thru Pick Up Of Free Facemasks Scheduled
Local Community Emergency Response Team Members and Fire Districts of Lincoln County have scheduled a second drive thru pick up of free facemasks for Tuesday, June 30, 2020, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
Provided facemasks are disposable and similar to medical masks, which are durable but not recommended for washing. An earlier drive thru pick-up event was held on June 13th where over 17,000 face coverings were distributed to the public.
Instructions to Receive Facemasks for Your Household:
Go to one of the locations listed on Tuesday, June 30th, follow posted directions at pick up locations:
- When you reach the front of the line, put your car in park, stay in your car
- Hold up fingers to show number of face coverings you need
- Roll down your window to receive your bag of face coverings
- Drive away – the CERT and Fire Team Members will not be able to answer questions
An informational handout on facemask use will be provided in your bag

LINCOLN COUNTY CHAMBERS TO DISTRIBUTE FACEMASKS TO BUSINESSES
(06.25.20 – Lincoln County)
Lincoln County businesses will soon be able to pick up facemasks for their employees, family members, and customers at no cost. The State of Oregon has provided a large quantity of facemasks to Lincoln County, which will be distributed through the Chambers of Lincoln County beginning Monday, June 29th.
Provided facemasks are disposable and similar to medical masks, which are durable but not recommended for washing.
To pick up the facemasks, Lincoln County businesses can simply fill out an online form, where they will be asked for the number of facemasks needed for employees, volunteers, family members, and customers or clients who may not have their own facemask.
Once the form has been submitted, a confirmation email will be sent, along with information of what time and the nearest location to pick up the facemasks. Participating locations include:
- Lincoln City Chamber and Depoe Bay Chamber in the North County area
- Newport Chamber in the Central County area,
- Waldport and Yachats Chambers in the South County area, and
- Toledo Chamber and City of Siletz in the East County area.
