Terrible Accident on 101 in Seal Rock – Highway 101 is shut down – Detour set up
7:25pm – Single vehicle reportedly into a tree off Highway 101 at NW Quail Road south of Seal Rock. Highway is shut down. Sounds like there is one fatal.
7:42pm – Calling for a second ambulance.
7:57pm – Most injured person is headed for PCH in Newport for some treatment of injuries and then will be transported to the Newport Airport to rendezvous with a Life Flight Helo Ambulance which will deliver him to a trauma center either in the valley or Portland.
