8:30pm – Smoke is wafting out of a home’s front door at 545 SE Neptune overlooking Devils Lake in Lincoln City. Fire-Rescue is enroute. A fire crew from Depoe Bay is also enroute for back-up assistance.
8:33pm – Smoke is coming from a full-size mobile home. Arriving firefighters are attempting to determine if there is anyone still inside.
8:35pm – Homes in the area are pretty packed together so there is a real danger of a major house fire to spread to other homes.
8:40pm – Sole occupant of the home has escaped the dwelling and firefighters say he’s okay.
8:41pm – Firefighters found burning food on the kitchen stove. They put the fire out. No major damage.
