Lincoln County Community Rights monthly public meeting, Community Rights Action night, or CRA will present a showing of soon to be released documentary film produced by award winning Mark Ruffalo, “INVISIBLE HAND.” It is the world’s first documentary film about the creation of RIghts of Nature. It is the defining battle of our times where nature, democracy and capitalism face off in rural America. This film takes you behind the curtain of the global economy where Rights of Nature becomes capitalism’s one true opponent. The film makers ask the question, “WHO WILL SPEAK FOR NATURE?”
LCCR invites county residents to join us for this film showing, to hear more about Natures’ Rights work around the US and internationally, and expand your awareness of the after affects of establishing legal rights for the Natural world.
Refreshments will be served, we ask people to come without hair or clothing chemicals for others who are sensitive to chemical products. There is no admission fee – bring your friends and know that we welcome receiving donations to support LCCR’s work in the appeals process for our Aerial Spray Ban. We meet in the meeting rooms of the OSU Extension office building at 1211 SE Bay Blvd. Newport. This location is east of Embarcadero, across the road from the Port of Newport access and next to “Air Gas.”
