WATERCOLOR ART CLASS
The Newport 60+ Activity Center will be hosting a 6-session, free Watercolor art class. Class will be meeting Tuesdays January 7 – February 11, 2020, from 10:00 to 11:30 am. Our instructor, Shirley Steinhauer, will assist you in your creations. Draw into that inner beauty and hidden talent. With Shirley’s experience and expertise, you will surely discover the artist in you. All the supplies will be provided for you, for those who do have supplies they are encouraged to bring them to class. Simply come in and enjoy the great company. Class size is limited.

Telecommunication Devices Access Program (TDAP) Presentation
Do you have difficulty communicating on the phone? The Oregon Public Utility Commission and TDAP may have the answer you are looking for.
The Telecommunication Devices Access Program (TDAP) is a state government program that loans specialized communications equipment AT NO COST and with no income restrictions to eligible Oregon residents who have experienced hearing loss, vision loss, mobility limitations, speech or memory issues. This equipment includes corded or cordless amplified phones, captioned phones, TTYs, big button phones, speakerphones, electrolarynxes, cell phones, tablets, or speech generating devices.
Please join us at the 60 + Activity Center on Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. as Kevin Roebke, Residential Service Protection Fund Outreach Coordinator with the Oregon Public Utility Commission, explains the program and answers your questions.
