1:41pm – House fire in Newport at 204 NW Nye, between 3rd and 2nd.
1:45pm – Homeowner says it was a fire in the oven. She managed to put it out. One fire crew will remain enroute to check things out.
1:48pm – Fire crew checked the situation and said it was a simple fire in the oven. No damage. Fire crews are enroute back to quarters.
