Samaritan ArtsCare program presents etched printmaking card class
Come explore the world of etched printmaking cards, just in time for holiday giving. Two 90-minute sessions will be offered on Wednesday, Dec. 4, beginning at 2 p.m. and again at 5:30 p.m., at the Center for Health Education in Newport.
Participants will etch their own printing plate then use it to print cards, experimenting with different ink combinations. You can trade printing plates and cards with others in the class so everyone goes home with a wonderful assortment of cards. No art or printing experience is necessary – just come, play and experience the healing properties of engaging in art.
These art sessions are free, but space is limited, and registration is required. For more information and to register, contact Amy Conner, Health Resource Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 541-574-4952.
All supplies and instruction provided by the Samaritan ArtsCare program, which fosters healing through the arts.
The Samaritan Center for Health Education is located directly west of Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, at 740 SW Ninth St.
