Over the weekend Central Coast Fire was dispatched to a fully involved car fire on Keiskiln Lane. Firefighters arrived on scene and was putting water on the blaze within a minute. A camper van was flaming away, catching a tree or two on fire. Firefighters soaked the van and the trees to ensure the fire didn’t migrate off the property.
It was a pretty stubborn blaze. It took firefighters the better part of an hour to get the fire dead out. Central Coast Firefighters were assisted on scene by Seal Rock Fire District, Yachats Rural Fire Protection, Pacific West Ambulance and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
No word yet on what sparked the blaze.
