2019 Senior Fair at Chinook Winds…

27th Anniversary of Senior Fair

“It’s hard to believe that it was almost 30 years ago Maxine Bush, Joe Della Valle, Pat and I sat down in the TV10 studio and thought about what our Lincoln City retirement community needs.” said Roger Robertson co-owner of All Ways Traveling. “Now October 1, 2019 Senior Fair will celebrate its 27th anniversary of that meeting.”

Senior Fair 2019 will be held at Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City, Oregon on October 1st from 9 am to 4 pm. Admission is free to the public. There will be products and information designed for all of our 55 plus friends and family. “You don’t have to be a senior citizen to come and enjoy the show.” Said Pat Robertson co-owner of All Ways Traveling. “If you have a family member or friends that you know will benefit, bring them so they can see all of the great information our vendors will provide.”

All Ways Traveling has again partnered with Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital to provide immunization and health screening at the fair. “Our hospital has really stepped up this year with the number of free health screenings they will offer,” said event director, Phil Robertson.

Robertson also wants to thank the sponsors of Senior Fair 2019; Chinook Winds Casino Resort, The News Guard and Yaquina Bay Broadcasting (KBCH-AM, KNPT-AM, KYTE-FM, KCRF-FM and KNCU-FM) and Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital without their support Senior Fair could not be possible.

This year Chinook Winds Casino will provide a senior discounted “Boomer” breakfast in their buffet, a free Senior Slot Tournament and there will be an hourly drawing for $100.00 in cash and prizes, cash winners must be present to win.

“I’m just happy to see something in Lincoln City that has continued to grow.” said Joe Della Valle, former news director for KBCH radio and TV10 News. “It was a great idea in 1990’s, and even more of a benefit to our seniors now.”

Some of the types of vendors at the fair will be retirement communities, a variety of travel booths, financial experts, places to help volunteer, home improvements, and a number of state and local agencies.

“If you have a business you’d like to promote to the seniors of Oregon and would like to participate call Roger, Pat or Phil Robertson at All Ways Traveling at 541-996-7474. You can also e-mail at allways@charter.net.

Senior Fair 2019 is a forum for businesses and organizations to reach the 55 plus market and to give Senior Citizens an opportunity to explore their offerings. “There will be more exhibits this year than ever,” concluded Phil Robertson. “We have worked to improve the show every year, I think this will be the best of the 27 years.”.
