Peter Karrasik Memorial Art Show and Potluck
August 31 from 2 to 7 at the Yachats Commons
Peter suffered a debilitating stroke eight years ago and despite all odds recovered enough to return to some of his art tho’ he lost the use of his right arm and his ability to speak. His wife Lorraine and son Nishan and daughter-in-law Julie helped him work hard to re-learn how to draw left-handed and he produced a large body of work in that time. Those works along with selections from a lifetime of art will be on display at the Yachats commons from 2 to 7 on Saturday, August 31st. His family and friends will be gathering to see the wonderful, whimsical and sometimes irreverent drawings he made during his life and remember Peter together and enjoy a potluck. Everyone is welcome.
