Average Oregon renter still canNOT afford a typical one-bedroom apartment

Too much market control by the building industry?

It’s getting harder for average Oregon renters to comfortably afford an average apartment, even with a full-time job.

The 2019 edition of the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s annual “Out of Reach” report shows rents have continued to climb across the state while wages have failed to keep pace.

Sounds like control of the markets by the construction and real estate trades.
