For the second day in a row, Oregon GOP Senators have staged a walk-out thereby ensuring that the Senate majority Democrats don’t have the power to vote yes on a big business tax to improve Oregon K-12 Schools. Democrats point out that Oregon spends far less on public education that what’s common around the country. But the GOP senators say that may be true, but “we don’t want the business community to shoulder the whole spending boost.
