North Lincoln Firefighter Expected to Make Full Recovery
Miller’s vehicle collided with a delivery truck on Thursday morning, April 11th at approximately 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 22 and Perrydale Road in Dallas. Miller was heading to Lincoln City to work a shift when the accident occurred.
Dallas Fire & Rescue responded to the incident and extricated Miller from his car and transported him to Salem Hospital. Miller was initially placed in intensive care with serious head and chest injuries following the crash.
Miller, 27, started working for North Lincoln Fire & Rescue (NLFR) six months ago. “It was his dream job” said Chief Rob Dahlman, who with dozens of other NLFR firefighters visited Miller during his hospital stay.
The family said it is overwhelmed by the community’s support and prayers. “I have been so blessed by all the love and support of family and friends,” Miller said Sunday.
