A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for the Cascades, including Government Camp, Detroit, Santiam Pass, McKenzie Pass, McKenzie Bridge, Oakridge and Willamette Pass, which is in effect from 4:00pm this afternoon through 6:00pm Wednesday. Snow is expected. Snow will be increasing over the Lane County Cascades later today into this evening, with snow spreading northward tonight. Snow may be heavy at times late tonight into Wednesday morning. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches expected for tonight through Wednesday afternoon. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for the Western Columbia River Gorge, including Corbett, Rooster Rock, Multnomah Falls, Cascade Locks, North Bonneville and Stevenson, which is in effect from midnight tonight through 6:00pm Wednesday. Snow is expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Easterly winds will continue to gust 40 to 50 mph at times. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
